The Lexile index allows you to measure the difficulty of English books and the reader's English reading level.
It is used as the most representative English reading index data in the United States.
The Lexile Index is displayed next to the titles of national and public school textbooks and recommended books.
3. What is AR index?
The AR index is made by Renaissance Learning® in the United States.It is a reading management program developed and is a level index that measures the difficulty of a book.
The AR index is used in more than 45,000 schools in the United States.
The evaluation criteria are the length of the sentence, the difficulty of the word, and the number of vocabulary included in the book.
Unlike the Lexile Index, the AR index is in line with the U.S. textbook curriculumThe school year was divided into 10 stages in total.
